2 arrested for meth in Galena

Two individuals have been arrested in Galena for manufacturing methamphetamine.

Skyler R. Trebian, 21, and Steven E. Fishel, 23, were arrested Tuesday, April 16 when the Jo Daviess County Sheriff's Office, Galena Police Department, and the Illinois State Police conducted a search warrant on an apartment in the 200 block of North Main Street in Galena.

During the search, investigators found multiple items associated with a meth lab, which was interrupted in the early stages of the manufacturing process.

Trebian and Fishel were both charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursors and unlawful possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials. Additional charges may be possible.

The incident is still under investigation.
