Two men accused of killing DeMarcus Hanson are free

Two of the men, who were in prison for killing a young Rockford boy, are out of the Winnebago County Jail.

According to the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department's online inmate locator, Anthony Ross and Lumont Johnson have posted bail.  As of Tuesday morning, Tyjuan Anderson was still being held there.

The three men were convicted of killing Demarcus Hanson. The 8-year-old was shot and killed while he slept in his bed at his grandmother's house in 2002.  Johnson, Ross and Anderson have claimed all along that they didn't do it.  A judge tossed out the guilty verdict in March, meaning the three men will be tried again for Hanson's murder.

Bond was set at $100,000 for Johnson and Ross and at $150,000 for Anderson.
