Rockford Labor News ceasing publication

After 101 years of publication, the Rockford Labor News has released its last edition.

According to publisher Don Brady, the electronic invasion of the print industry is doing to papers what the automobile did to the horse and buggy. Brady said it was time for him and his wife of 60 years to step away from the weekly newspaper business.

Although Brady hung a "For Sale" sign outside the business, it didn't draw any offers.
