Man shot in wrist during drive-by incident


Rockford Police responded to the scene of a shooting in the 1500 block of S. 4th St. Officers located a male victim that was shot in the wrist. He was shot as suspects drove by him in a vehicle. One of the occupants of the vehicle fired a gun striking the victim.

Follow up investigation led to the police locating 3 persons of interest at another address who are being questioned about their possible involvement in this incident. Investigation is still on going. The injury to the victim is believed to be non life threatening.
