LULAC of Rockford opens 2 new offices


To better serve the needs of Rockford's growing Hispanic population, the League of United Latin American Citizens' (LULAC) local branch has opened two new offices.

The non-profit organization now boasts offices at 319 7th Street and 4215 East State Street, which celebrated their grand openings on Friday. The goal of the organization is to help advance the education, political influence, health, housing, and civil rights of the local Latino population.

The 7th Street location will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the East State Street location will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
