Rockford will play host to the College Table Tennis Championship for the first time.
The tournament is expected to bring over 300 players from over 40 schools from around the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. Approximately 500 fans are also expected to attend, bringing a total estimated economic impact of $190,800 to the Rockford region.
The championship will be held from April 12 to April 14 at the Forest City Tennis Center, 7801 East State Street.
Single-day passes are $5 for adults and $4 for students and seniors. Three-day passes are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Tickets can be bought at the door.
