Klehm Arboretum offering free spring activities for families

Spring is here and with temperatures on the rise, Klehm Arboretum has plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy the weather.

On the second Saturday of each month in spring, the arboretum will offer themed activities for kids, including scavenger hunts, hikes, and guided tours. After their adventures, they can gather in the Visitor's Center Gallery for cookies and hot drinks and even make their own crafts.

April's theme is wildflowers. The event will be held on April 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a walk through the Vi Bates Wildflower Garden and a wildflower make-and-take craft.

The events are free. For more information, visit www.klehm.org.
