Kishwaukee Subway robbed

Rockford Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Subway on Kishwaukee Street.

Police responded Friday afternoon. According to police, a man armed with a handgun entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. After the clerk handed over the cash, the suspect ran away in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as 20 to 30 years old, 5' 7", with a thin build and sandy blond facial hair. He was wearing a tan or beige jacket.
