The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is rolling out yet another multimedia campaign to try to get people to kick their cigarette habit.
The $48 million media campaign features ads in English and Spanish that target specific groups with high smoking rates. One ad states, "Ask yourself what you'll miss more, your children or your cigarettes."
The ads will start running on Monday. The CDC says in its first year the ads encouraged over 50,000 people to stop smoking.
Cigarette companies wouldn't comment on the campaign.
