Study shows texting and driving on the rise among commuters

According to recent polls, commuters have surpassed teens as the biggest culprits when it comes to texting and driving.

The polls, which were carried out on behalf of AT&T, show that 49 percent of commuters admitted to texting and driving while 43 percent of teens did.

Although 98 percent of the commuters surveyed knew texting and driving was unsafe, 43 percent of the ones who admitted to texting and driving also admitted that it was a habit.
