Soon motorists will be able to take Harlem Road free of charge.
On Monday, April 1, construction is set to begin on the Bauer Parkway/Harlem Road Toll Plaza. On that date, Harlem will be closed to all traffic from Northrock Drive on the west and Victory Lane on the east. Construction will include the removal of all toll systems and related structures.
During construction, one lane in each direction on Harlem will be open to traffic with work zone restrictions. The Harlem closure is set to end on April 10, but delays should be expected.
Construction is set to be finished by the end of spring.
Tolls will no longer be accepted after March 31.
