It might be cold outside now, but warmer weather is just around the corner and the 42nd Annual Rockford RV, Camping, & Travel show is back in town to get ready for summer.
The show features RV models, golf carts, pop-ups, motorhomes, and much more. Travel representatives will also be on hand to answer any questions about vacation possibilities.
Even though the show might seem skewed toward adults, there's also plenty to do for kids, like a "Cars" Lightning McQueen look-a-like, a NASCAR simulator, and a visit from Yogi the Bear.
Approximately 12,000 people are expected to attend the show at the Indoor Sports Center this year. It goes until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22. It's open on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
A one-day pass for adults 12 and older is $6. Children under 12 are free, and so is parking.
