Rockford Police release results of St. Patrick's Day enforcement

ROCKFORD (WREX) -

The Rockford Police Department stepped up enforcement over St. Patrick's Day weekend in an effort to keep roads safe.

During the enforcement, three people were arrested for DUI in Rockford, three for Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, three for Suspended Driver's Licenses, and one for a warrant associated with a DUI.

The enforcement was made possible through a grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation Division of Traffic Safety.
