Foods conference focuses on local growing and selling

If you just can't wait for spring to kick in, the University of Illinois Extension gives a glimpse at what you'll see come planting season.

This is the fourth year the extension has hosted the annual Openfields Local Foods Conference.  It helps interested community members learn about local foods, from the farm to the table.

This year, the conference focuses on individuals learning more about growing their own food or growing food for local foods markets.
