Liquor store employee takes matters into own hands

An armed robber's attempt at Mosey's Liquor Store turns out bad for him.  James E. Taylor, 20, was shot by an employee while trying to hold up the liquor store.

He is in a local hospital listed in serious condition.  Taylor and an accomplice entered the store, both armed with their faces covered.

No customers were there at the time, but there were three store employees.  One grabbed a gun, shooting Taylor.  The 2nd suspect got away.

He's described as a black male, 5'10"/6', wearing dark clothing with a hoody.

Taylor is charged with Attempt Armed Robbery and Aggravated Discharge of a firearm.
