Winnebago County Clerk's office hosting extended hours for voting

The Winnebago County Clerk's Office will extend its hours to allow residents to vote in the upcoming April election.

The office, located at 404 Elm Street in Rockford, will be open on Saturday March 30 and Saturday April 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for early voting.

Grace period voting began on Wednesday, March 13. During that time, residents can register to vote, but they will have to vote immediately and will not be able to go to the polls on Election Day. Grace period voting ends on April 6.
