Students graduating from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford celebrated the end of years of hard work by finding out where they will spend their residency programs.
Students celebrated Match Day on Friday, March 15. They were matched through a computerized process to hospitals throughout the country. The process includes students ranking their preferred residency programs and residency programs ranking their preferred applicants.
Medical students at schools around the country all learned their match results at the same time.
