UPDATED: Rockford Police respond to armed robbery

UPDATE:
The victim, the owner of Raingold Computers, walked into a local hospital just after 1:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon with multiple stab wounds.

There were two male suspects involved, one in his late twenties to early thirties, about 5'7" and 150 pounds. The other is also in his late twenties to early thirties, about 6' tall and 180 pounds.

Police are currently looking into the possibility that the incident is related to a stabbing at the Happy Shop earlier this week.

PREVIOUSLY:
A man was stabbed during an armed robbery Thursday afternoon.

The armed robbery occurred at a business at 1224 Broadway. The store owner was stabbed and is currently being treated for critical injuries at a local hospital.

Rockford Police are still on the scene and the incident is under investigation.
