Belvidere North Wins NIC-10 Boys Indoor Title

Belvidere North took home the boys NIC-10 Indoor Track Championship thanks in large part to the legs of its distance runners. Garrett Lee, Tyler Yunk and Paxson Menard finished as the top three runners in the 1600M run, 15 seconds ahead of anybody else.

The Blue Thunder totaled 140 points. Host Hononegah finished 2nd with 120, while Jefferson took home 3rd place with 96 points.

Jefferson's Tim Willis anchored the J-Hawks' 4x200M winning relay team.

Hononegah's Brett Sheriff won the 55M hurdles with a time of 8.47 seconds.

Freeport senior Jaylen Robinson won the 400M race with a time of 53.16.
