Workshop held on soil erosion and sediment control - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

The Boone County and Winnebago County Soil and Water Conservation Districts teamed up Wednesday for their annual soil erosion and sediment control workshop.
The workshop is held each spring for local builders and teaches them the best practices to prevent erosion on construction sites while keeping sediment out of streams and other bodies of water.
Several speakers discussed regulations, practices, and products. About 100 people were signed up to attend.
