TSA to allow small knives, other items back on planes

Beginning in April, several items that are restricted from airplanes will be allowed back on board by the Transportation Security Administration.

Items like pocket knives with blades less than two inches, lacrosse sticks, and ski poles will be allowed on planes once again. However, box cutters and knives that have locking blades will still be banned.

While the TSA says the decision is aligned with international standards, one flight attendants union has called the decision dangerous.
