Loves Park Police arrest 2 for traffic, drug charges

Two men were arrested by Loves Park Police on Friday, March 1.

The first, Mario Guzman, 34 of Rockford, was pulled over and arrested for Aggravated Driving While License Revoked. He was also charged with a probation violation.

Later, during a search of Guzman's home in the 3200 block of Lyons Avenue, 242 grams of cannabis, drug packaging material, and cash were recovered.

As a result of that search, 35-year-old James Sandquist of Rockford was charged with Possession of 30 to 500 Grams of Cannabis and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
