One in critical condition after accident on Kilburn Avenue - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

An overnight car crash leaves a passenger in critical condition, and a driver, under the influence, behind bars.
The crash happened around quarter after two this morning. Rockford Police say 18-year-old Devonte Gary of Rockford was under the influence of marijuana when the vehicle he was driving struck another car in the 900 block of Kilburn Avenue.
One passenger in that vehicle is in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing. Devonte Gary is charged with driving under the influence of marijuana along with improper lane usage.
