28 area officers graduate from crisis intervention training - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

Over two dozen officers are now certified to better help people with mental issues.
The training began on Monday at the Rosecrance Berry Campus in Rockford and officers graduated on Friday. During the week, they learned how to better handle situations involving people with mental health issues and put that training to practice.
Over 260 officers in northern Illinois are now trained in crisis intervention.
