Chestnut Mountain hosting 5th annual Big Nut Open

Skiers and snowboarders will descend on Galena this weekend for Chestnut Mountain's fifth annual Big Nut Open.

The open will be held March 2nd and 3rd at Chestnut Mountain Resort. It features the following events:

  • Saturday
    • Big Air - 12p.m. to 2p.m.
    • Rail Jam - 3:30p.m. to 5:30p.m.
  • Sunday
    • Slopestyle - 10:30a.m. to 1:30p.m.

It's $10 for each event and competitors must have a valid lift ticket and helmet.
