Rockford Police and Fire department respond to late night fire - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

Late last night, Rockford Police and Fire departments responded to a residential fire at the 2000 block of Sandy Hollow Road.
Police were driving by when they noticed the garage had caught on fire at the home. No one was home at the time of the fire and no one was injured. The estimated loss is $40,000.The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
