TEDxRockford gives sneak peek of upcoming TED lectures - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

Even though the lectures screened Thursday won't make it to the internet until next month, people in the Rockford area got a sneak peek.
TEDxRockford held a screening of several TED lectures at NIU Rockford. The day's sessions were titled Disrupt!, Dream!, Create!, and Sustain!. Featured speakers included everyone from musician and blogger Amanda Palmer to management theorist Andrew McAfee, to nuclear scientist Taylor Wilson.
An open forum TEDxRockford committee meeting was also held in the middle of the day for interested attendees.
