High School Basketball Games Postponed

Due to Tuesday's weather, several high school basketball playoff games have been postponed.

Eastland High School is hosting a Sectional this week. The Cougars were slated to face Erie Tuesday night at 7:30, but that's been rescheduled for Wednesday at 7:30. That pushes the Aquin vs. River Ridge game back to Thursday at 7:30. The championship game remains Friday night.

The Byron Sectional game between Winnebago and Aurora Christian has also been rescheduled for Wednesday night at 6:00.

The 3-A Belvidere Regional games have been pushed back to Wednesday. Rockford Lutheran will play Freeport at 6:00, while Belvidere takes on Rockford Christian at 7:30.

The 4-A Rockford East Regional game between Jefferson and DeKalb has also been moved to Wednesday night. Jefferson and DeKalb will tip off at 6:00 Wednesday night, with East taking on Huntley afterwards.

The 4-A Hononegah Regional game between Harlem and Hononegah has been postponed until Wednesday at 7:30. That pushes back the Auburn vs. Boylan game until Thursday at 7:30.
