Rockford Park District's Adapted Sports and Therapeutic Recreation teams will host the Midwest Conference Wheelchair Basketball Championship Tournament February 23-24, 2013 at Harlem High School, 9229 N. Alpine Rd., Machesney Park, IL.

Approximately 26 high school teams in three divisions from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin will be participating. Approximate times for tournament play will be 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday.

This event is sponsored by the Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (RACVB), the Vaughn Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA), Per4Max, and Coloplast, and is one of many free activities and adapted sports activities offered by the Rockford Park District.
