Loves Park candidate loses appeal to be on April ballot

A paper clip has cost one Loves Park man the chance to be on the April ballot for Second Ward Alderman.

David Soll was initially kicked off the ballot in early January after his opponent, Charles Frykman, challenged his petition because his petition papers had not been properly secured.

Soll appealed the decision, but was denied on February 15. He now plans to run as a write-in candidate and has already filed to do so.
