Aquin Boys Win on Senior Night - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

Aquin closed out its home, regular season by defeating (Rockford) Christian Life tonight, 84-75, at Aquin's Senior Night. The game was tight and uptempo throughout as both teams shot well and ran the floor. Aquin held a slim 18-17 lead at the end of the first quarter, but Christian Life exploded for 26 second quarter points, and hit a buzzer beater 3 to take a 43-41 halftime lead. The third quarter saw Christian Life go 4-4 from 3, but Aquin answered with a 20 point outburst to tie the game going into the fourth quarter at 61.  Aquin outscored Christian Life in the fourth 23-14 and sealed the win with 8-11 FT shooting.
