Members of the Rockton Police Department will trade their uniforms for workout clothes and Zumba for a good cause.

A Zumba fundraiser for Amanda Babyar will be held in the Hononegah High School Gym on at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15. Besides Zumba, the fundraiser will also feature prizes, raffle items, and auctions items. Cost to take part is $10 and the fundraiser is open to the public.

Some prizes include autographed memorabilia from the Chicago Blackhawks, Bears merchandise, IceHogs suite tickets, restaurant packages, salon packages, golf packages, a DJ voucher, a tattoo voucher, and much more.

Amanda was diagnosed with High Risk Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2011. She also has a Philadelphia Chromosome. She receives one week of heavy chemotherapy every month and takes daily medication. Although she is in remission, the Philadelphia Chromosome remains and she is scheduled for a bone marrow transplant.
