Congressman Adam Kinzinger made a brief stop in Rockford on Tuesday for a luncheon, but is now gearing up for tomorrow's State of the Union Address.
The representative for the 16th District commented usually many promises are made during State of the Union speeches, but not much action is made.
"What I hope to see is that he comes to the table and says Republicans and Democrats are going to have to work together, to get people back to work to figure out how to reduce federal spending, and I hope he also talks about the pending sequester cuts to the military," Congressman Kinzinger said.
