Former Sensata worker to be guest of Bustos at State of the Union

A Freeport woman will accompany Congresswoman Cheri Bustos to President Obama's State of the Union Address on Tuesday.
Dot Turner was laid off at Sensata Technologies' Freeport plant after 43 years on the job. Her job, as well as those of 170 were sent to China at the beginning of this year.
Congresswoman Bustos commented that she was "honored" to have Turner as a guest. She also said that she hopes "President Obama lays out a plan that prioritizes creating good-paying jobs here at home and I look forward to continuing to support American workers like Dot and all those who lost their jobs at Sensata."
