Belvidere council members gather to get a grasp on what to expect in 2014. Aldermen were given the budget a little over a week ago.
Today they met for the first time to discuss operations and the thought processes behind it.
The budget mainly deals with maintenance issues and is similar to this years.
The council anticipates a $160,000 surplus this fiscal year.
