Belvidere couple proud of granddaughter's big screen debut

A Belvidere couple couldn't be more proud of their tiny movie star.

Stick around until the end of "Identity Thief" for the tiniest.  In one of the final scenes, Amanda Peet is holding a baby.  That little girl is Barb and Tom Guirl's granddaughter, Sadie.  Barb and Tom own Beaver Creek Pottery in Belvidere.  They say their daughter in Atlanta responded to an open casting call for twins.  Sadie and her sister Sloan were picked.  According to Barb's daughter, both babies were on set but since Sadie didn't get fussy, Sloan wasn't needed.

"It was a really, really hot day downtown Atlanta, and Jason Bateman was very concerned about the babies and so he kept fanning them and making sure they were cool enough while Amanda Peet was holding them."

Sadie's grandparents plan on watching the movie this weekend.
