Rockford woman enters plea in deadly car crash


A Rockford woman charged in a deadly car crash pleads not guilty.

Antavia McGee, 21 was before a Winnebago County Judge Friday.  Police say McGee was driving a car that left the road on South Winnebago Street in Rockford and hit a tree.  The car crash happened January 24th.  Two people inside the car with her at the time, Shakiyla Ellis, 20 and Desiree Mannery, 23 were killed.  Mcgee faces six counts of aggravated DUI causing death, as well as reckless homicide and aggravated DUI.  She'll be back in court March 1st.
