Tyler Yunk Signs with Kansas

BELVIDERE (WREX) -

Belvidere North track and cross country standout Tyler Yunk signed his National Letter of Intent to run both track and cross country at the University of Kansas.

"It's a great day," Yunk said. "I'm so glad to finally be able to say I'm a Jayhawk. It's been a long run but it turned out Kansas is the place for me."

Yunk is a two-time all-state runner for the Blue Thunder.
