IceHogs' Gilbert Reassigned

Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations announced on Thursday that forward David Gilbert has been reassigned from the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs to the Central Hockey League's Bloomington Blaze.

Gilbert, 21, has appeared in six games with Rockford this season, marking two assists, including a helper in Rockford's 5-4 shootout victory at Texas on Tuesday. Chicago's seventh round selection (#209 overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Gilbert has 13g-12a-25pts in 32 games with the Blaze this season.
Next Home Game: Saturday, Feb. 9 vs. Houston Aeros. Game time is slated for 7:05 p.m. The first 2,500 fans to the game will pick up a Colin Fraser Bobblehands figurine courtesy of Gatorade, recognizing the first former IceHogs skater to win two Stanley Cups.
