4 cited in Loves Park for selling tobacco to minors

Four Loves Park establishments have been cited for selling tobacco to minors during a tobacco compliance check of 36 retailers.

The check was carried out by Loves Park Police last week. The following four clerks face a $750 fine for selling to a minor:

  • Hasan Awni, 37, Loves Park - Loves Park BP
  • Susan Parlow, 33, Machesney Park - Rascal's Bar & Grill
  • Malek Shaabneh, 18, Rochelle - Dugout Tobacco Shop
  • Patricia Thies, 45, Loves Park - Wupco Shell
