ROCKFORD (WREX) -

If it's too cold for you to think about outdoor activities right now set your sights to 4 months from now.

June 15th,  The Biggest Loser Run/Walk series comes to Rockford.  Monday night was a registration kickoff at Rockford's YMCA.  Former biggest loser contestants, Dan and Jackie Evans, came to help with the kickoff.  June's event includes a 5K, a 15K, and a one mile kids run.

"It's a non-intimidating race environment which means if you're that fast runner and you're going to set a P.R., the front of the pack is for you.  But if it's your first time and you think you're gonna go out for a walk and you're gonna give it a try, well there's that whole middle and back of the pack for the walkers to get out there and just get going.  And what I say is, it's all about Day 1. And every day is a good day for Day 1.
