If Illinois Senate President John Cullerton has his way, Valentine's Day will be extra special for gay couples around the state this year.
Cullerton has said he would like to pass same-sex marriage on February 14. He believes the bill has enough votes to pass the Illinois Senate and move to the House.
Cullerton hopes to have the measure passed out of committee some time next week.
