Top Meridian School District administrators resign

Posted: Updated:
OGLE COUNTY (WREX) -

Two top administrators in an Ogle County school district quit.

After a closed door meeting, that lasted a couple of hours, Meridian CUSD 223 board members voted to accept the resignations of both Superintendent Dr. Robert Morelan, and Assistant Superintendent, Tom Gaudreau.  The decision happened just before 10 Thursday night.

You may remember, we've been following this story for a few weeks.  Gaudreau's been on administrative leave.  Board members were silent as to why.  A couple of days ago we reported on a discrimination lawsuit filed against the district, and Superintendent Morelan, by a former administrator.
