
The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office is investigating allegations of identity theft in regard to the owner of Silver Star Motors in Cortland.
The Sheriff's Office got a call around 10:00 p.m. on January 29 stating a U-haul was at Silver Star Motors and all of the cars for sale were missing. Investigators spoke to the owner of the business, 25-year-old Terry Morrow Jr., and later arrested him on seven counts of identity theft.
Morrow was taken to the DeKalb County Jail and held pending a bond hearing. The incident is still under investigation.
