Trespassing charges have been dropped against Reverend Jesse Jackson.
Jackson and 13 others were arrested for trespassing while protesting outside of Sensata Technologies last October. Sensata was in the middle of a process to send manufacturing operations to China, which would cut 170 jobs.
Jackson and the others pleaded not guilty to trespassing charges in November and requested a jury trial.
A Sensata attorney said in a letter sent to the City of Freeport earlier this month that the company supported dropping the charges against the protesters.
