Area schools celebrate Catholic and Lutheran School Weeks


As a kick off to catholic schools week, St. Bridget opens it's doors to the public.

Current students give tours of the school and staff is there to answer questions.  As a celebration of the week, St. Bridget's students will also hold fundraisers for Rosie's Birthday Club and the Rockford Rescue Mission.

Catholic schools week is an annual national event celebrating faith-based education.

Another church affiliated school celebrates as part of a national week of recognition.

St. Paul Lutheran School takes part as Lutheran schools across the country celebrate the theme, "Baptized for This Moment".

Craft tables, videos and music all for guests enjoyment.

St. Paul hosted a book fair today with demonstrations from students and staff as well including a visit from Clifford the Big Red Dog.
