The Monroe Center Chili Cook-Off gets a little help this year courtesy of the 13 Weather Authority.
Chief Meteorologist Eric Sorensen and Weekend Meteorologist Joe Astolfi set up shop at the fire department there in Monroe Center to try their hands at making some chili.
The cook-off has been back up and going for the past decade. All proceeds benefit youth baseball in Monroe Center.
Morning Meteorologist Greg Bobos would've been there but he's under the weather.
Our weather team placed second in the booth contest with their storm-cloud and weather center.
