UPDATE:
The man found dead was Kelsey Fowler of Rockford. An autopsy was performed on Monday, but results were inconclusive. The Winnebago County Coroner's Office is awaiting toxicology results.
PREVIOUSLY:
Rockford Police are currently investigating the death of a 23-year-old man. Shortly after 8:00 AM Saturday morning, Rockford Police and Fire responded to the alley that runs west from the 2400 block of Edgemont.
When they got to the scene, the body of a white male was located. The name is not being released at this time, or any further details on the man's death.
