Rockford Police respond to home invasion

ROCKFORD (WREX) -

Rockford Police responded to a home invasion at 3303 Sun Valley Terrace around 10:53 this morning.

Three armed men entered an apartment and shot one person. The victim was struck in the lower extremity and transported to a local hospital. The injury is not life threatening.

All three suspects were wearing masks and fled northbound on foot.
