NWIBCTC donates to United Way Success by Six program - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

A program aimed at helping children prepare for kindergarten is getting some help from the Northwestern Illinois Building & Construction Trades Council (NWIBCTC).
The NWIBCTC presented a check for $4,950 to United Way's Success by Six program on Wednesday. The donation was made possible by proceeds from the council's 5th Annual Person of the Year event, which took place last October.
Success by Six focuses on children from birth to age six and helps ensure they have educational, social-emotional, and positive experiences to prepare them for kindergarten.
